Welcome to Survey 1: Periods After the COVID-19 Vaccine

Survey 1: Periods After the COVID-19 Vaccine is a DivaCup reporting initiative that is open to all people who menstruate.

As demonstrated in our recent article, “will the COVID-19 vaccine affect my period”, people who menstruate are reporting on social media that they are experiencing irregular and painful periods after the COVID-19 vaccine, but there is no medical research to back up these claims.

We at DivaCup are committed to supporting people who menstruate in all walks of life. To shed light on the issue of misrepresentation in the medical community, we are hosting a 2-part survey. This data will be used to build a readable report on menstruating peoples’ experiences. We would like to emphasize that these surveys are not scientific studies.

This survey will collect the following concepts:

  • What your cycle was like prior to the vaccine
  • The vaccine type your recieved for dose 1
  • What your cycle was like after the vaccine
  • Questions to outline the main demographics
